If anyone has any questions on my setup, I'll be happy to answer, I'd love some advice on how to get it to work. 1 The Retrolink SNES USB Controller says that it works without drivers or anything, but then doesnt seem to work with any of my SNES emulators. (I have four usb ports on my laptop, so I tried them all.) Every input menu screen on each emulator said that there was a gamepad connected.
I'm pretty sure it's a problem with the emulator since the drivers installed according to Vista were installed correctly. if it's there then there also should be a blue. once you do that go to input and in the upper right corner should be the name of your controller highlighted in blue mine says Logitech Precision.
When I plugged my controllers in (I have two, so I tried both to see if the problem was the controller, but I'm pretty sure it's not) neither was sensed by the emulator, so they wouldn't work. what kind of controller are you trying to use it has to be plugged into your computer before you open nestopia or it won't realize it's there. I'm running Vista, and I've tried NEStron, NEStopia and FCEUX in their latest versions. There are several sources for usb adapters for intellivision controllers. and if not does anybody have any other controller options that work well. Mainly based on how NES emulator Nestopia does things that are unrelated to.
